We are looking for a talented financial to join us as a (Junior) Controller! As a Controller you are essential to the success of Scooperz and your colleagues by building dashboards and providing sharp insights. Your analytical nature and focus on results make a significant impact for Scooperz and allow us all to keep raising the bar in our pursuit of success.

Job description

  • Part of the Scooperz Finance team of 3, but closely cooperating with colleagues in all fields across the company;

  • Right-hand to the CFO;

  • Setting up and executing reports that support MT decision-making and provide departments with relevant insights;

  • Helping in creating state-of-the-art Finance by further implementing Business Intelligence and AI into our processes;

  • Optimizing tools and processes, converting your financial intelligence into value across the company;

  • Ensuring completeness and accuracy of Scooperz financial figures;

  • Making impact by working on investment proposals, business cases and commercial analyses.

Requirements

You are a financial who is eager to learn and develop both hard and soft skills on your way to become a financial expert. You are motivated by focusing on results and efficiency, and enjoy putting your analytical skills to the test in a fast-paced environment. You are not afraid to challenge colleagues but have plenty social skills to also make them even more successful.

  • Up to 3 years of experience in a financial role;

  • Fluent in Dutch and excellent at English (written and verbal);

  • HBO / WO educated, preferably in an economical study with a focus on Finance, Accountancy or Control;

  • Aligned on Scooperz’ values and always ‘likeable’ to colleagues, clients and other stakeholders;

  • Accurate, assertive and ambitious;

  • Able to translate financial figures into simple and meaningful insights for your colleagues;

  • Accounting ledgers and Excel pose no threat for you;

  • Enthousiastic and intelligent;

  • Motivated to continuously raise the bar for yourself and others, and not afraid to learn from mistakes along the way.
